Stillwaters community house

Stillwaters is a Christian inner city community group in Wellington, providing a place of belonging, transformation, and expression of faith for a diverse range of people. The organization consists of multiple households throughout the city, aiming to connect and form relationships with local residents. Stillwaters offers hospitality, friendship, and support, with a focus on creating a caring and inclusive community. The group aims to honor Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be bicultural, welcoming individuals of various languages and backgrounds. Stillwaters is committed to being a safe and welcoming space for all, affirming takatāpui/LGBTI+ individuals and relationships, and providing support for those with mental health struggles. The organization also accommodates dietary needs and welcomes sex workers. However, Stillwaters acknowledges that not everyone may agree with their beliefs and practices, and encourages individuals to speak up if they feel discriminated against.
