The Scottish Society Hall was established with the aim of uniting Scotsmen and like-minded individuals in the district, preserving Scottish history and traditions, promoting the study of Scottish music, song, and literature, encouraging the wearing of Highland costume, and providing assistance and moral influence to Scotsmen and like-minded individuals. The Society strives to conserve and strengthen the best aspects of the Scottish national character. The Society was founded in 1902 by D. McKenzie and J. Fraser.
