The Society aims to be a highly valued, proactive, and successful professional body that operates to best practice principles. They promote high standards of ethical and professional practice, provide professional support and development to members, and advocate for biculturalism in the profession. Additionally, the Society represents psychologists to the Government, the public, and the media, and promotes psychology as a science.
